Profile of Akbar

Akbar born in 1967 in Andhra Pradesh, India. He spent most of his early life in rural areas of Telangana, which inculcates a curiosity to observe the village life keenly. Akbar is a self thought painter, his paintings depict the feelings of common people. Akbar is known in telugu literary world also, for he has given the title to number of books. He is very close to contemporary telugu poets and writers. He has done three solo shows, in U.S.A and Hyderabad. Participated in many group shows. He tries to represent the life at the grass root level in very subtle manner. The artist is well equipped in the understanding of out door space and its atmospheric nuances. Akbar's women are simple in look, but their eyes speak the language of innocence. His paintings are testimony of first hand experience of the inner self of an Indian village.
