Profile of Preeti Joshi
EDUCATION:
- M Sc from Meerut University
- Diploma in Textile Design from S. Delhi Polytechnic
Preeti Joshi, though a master in science, has a flair for Arts. Drawing and painting are passion for her. Her love for colors and her creativity find an exuberant expression in her floral, figures, faces, ethnic, Ganeshas and masks. She is versatile in the use of oils, acrylics and water colors. Recently she has been focusing on watercolor and acrylics to portray nature and the human form, the later being her forte.
Painting come naturally to her, though has had no formal training for it but had aced in one year Diploma in Textile Designing from S. Delhi Polytechnic. New Delhi where she dabbed in designing in apparel and furnishes.
During the past five years she has organized three exhibitions of her works at Meerut (UP). Her work has been admired for clean lines and vibrant colors. No wonder her creations form part of private and corporate collections.
Academic institutions have been taking advantage of her artistic talents for stage designing for their major functions too.
