Terms & Conditions for Sale
All artworks made available for sale on the Website will be sold at the price
mentioned by the gallery. The price of the artwork quoted does not include
duties, taxes, shipping and handling, insurance etc.
The shipping and handling charges will be charged as applicable and would depend
on the shipping address provided by the buyer and weight and volume of the art
work. The information provided at the time of finalizing a purchase shall be the
final billing address and shipping address for delivery of the artworks.
If the buyer wish to transit insure the art work the same has to be specified
before dispatch of the art work. The transit insurance has to be borne by the
buyer.
The buyer agrees that he / she is liable for any duties and taxes that might be
applicable on the purchase and such charges shall be payable in addition to the
price of the artwork. Alankritha Art Gallery is not liable for any charges that
may be levied at the destination whether in India or overseas.
Buyer agree to abide by all provisions prescribed in these terms and conditions
and also agree to pay all costs, charges plus all applicable taxes for the
purchases made.
Alankritha Art Gallery will not make any delivery until the entire Payment is
received and realized.
All invoices will be raised based on the information provided by the buyer at
the time of finalizing a purchase.
The artworks will be delivered/shipped to the Buyer once all necessary
documentation, relating to transportation, tax, insurance, etc. are completed
and payment has been realized in full including any additional charges.
The paintings are normally sent in a rolled format in a protective cylindrical
PVC tubes. However, if the buyer desires the painting to be sent in framed (with
or without glass) condition, the same will be arranged at additional cost as
special packing required to send these paintings. Alankritha Art Gallery cannot
provide any guarantee for these framed works even though utmost care is taken
while packing. Hence buyer is requested to get the transit insured done at his
discretion and same has to informed to Alankritha Art Gallery before dispatch of
the art work.
Art works will be dispatched within 7 days from the date of realization of full
payment.
Artworks received in an unsatisfactory condition by the buyer may be returned
within 2 working days in an ‘as is’ condition. In such a case Alankritha Art
Gallery will refund the payment to the buyer and cancel the order. However, the
unsatisfactory condition will only be covered for damaged or spoilt condition,
and NOT because the buyer did not like the artwork he has purchased or transit
damage (if insurance is not done).
While great care is taken to reproduce the colours and form of paintings as
depicted on the website, it is understood that since each painting is
individually painted there may be variations in shade and colour. No complaints
in this regard would be entertained.
All artwork displayed on the Website is supported by an authenticity guarantee
from the Artist. Based on this, Alankritha Art Gallery will issue a specific
authenticity guarantee for every artwork sold. The same is either dispatched
along with the art work or sent separately.
Buyer is deemed to have satisfied themselves about the authenticity of the art
work they would be buying, yet if a Buyer is able to prove to the satisfaction
of Alankritha Art Gallery that the art work is not authentic, Alankritha Art
Gallery will refund the sale price to such a buyer provided such buyer brings to
the notice of Alankritha Art Gallery within 15 days from the date of delivery of
the art work in question of the discrepancy.
In case of any dispute arising between the Buyer and Alankritha Art Gallery in
respect of these Terms, the buyer and Alankritha Art Gallery agree to submit
such dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad.
Alankritha Art Gallery reserves the rights to change and alter the Terms and
Conditions as and when required.
